Sharing is both giving and receiving. It's energising.
Share Your Gold is a monthly child-friendly brainstorm and support meet-up.
It was started to accommodate mums in business and has since expanded to welcome anyone who has an idea/goal/challenge they’re trying to navigate because we want to be inclusive and we all have gold to share.
Forget the elevator pitch, we pitch our problems. We go round the room sharing what we’re trying to achieve and what the barriers/challenges are. We then do a mini-brainstorm for each person which is us essentially ‘sharing our gold’. We share suggestions, insights, ideas, resources, contacts and in some cases, collaborations are born. Basically, we work together on realising our dreams.
Despite being predominantly mums, we don’t spend a lot of time talking about kids. Our children take up so much of our focus, we love that this time is reserved to talk about something else! That being said, we always meet up at child-friendly locations (sometimes cafes but mostly my house these days) and have no problem with children being at the table or running about while we chat.
